「恋におちて」　に寄せて

テレビドラマの主題歌として生まれた「恋におちて」という曲は、人間の赤ちゃんがそうであるように、その時の親たちの生みの苦しみから見事に成長し、たくましく生き残って­、今では自分の足で広く歩き回っています。

思いもかけないことに香港でヒットしたり、シンガポールで歌われたり、今では徳永英明さんが歌って下さったことから、男の方用のカラオケのキーも出来て、歌って下さる男性­も増えてきました。

そして、稲垣潤一さんの女性とのデュエット・ヴァージョンが誕生したと思ったら、今度は思いもかけず、クラシック畑のヨーコ・マリアさんから、ご自分の英語訳詞で歌いたい­と言ってきて下さったのです。

やっぱり産みの親は親です。子供がどんな姿になって現れるのか、嬉れしいような、心配なような・・・・。

そして、私の手元に届いた音を聴かせて頂いて、「恋におちて」が、こんなにも、みずみじしく、まるで初恋に胸とときめかせる乙女のように、ロマンチックに美しく歌われてい­ることにびっくりしましたし、日本語詞に何とか寄り添った英語にしようと苦労していただいた苦労もしのばれて、嬉れしく、有りがたく思っています。

この上は、このCDが沢山の方の手に渡って、「恋におちて」のヨーコ・マリア・ヴァージョンが、さらに新しく天地を目ざして広く、長く生きて残っていってくれることを、心­から祈っています。ありがとうございました。
