Deleting Duplicate Songs in iTunes - CHIPNIT.COM

This tip of the day is brought to you by CHIPNIT.com. For a lot of different reasons, songs in your iTunes library get duplicated. For those of us who like to keep things organized, this is very frustrating. Luckily there is a little tool built into iTunes to help solve this problem.

just hold the command key (CTRL on Windows) and then go through selecting one by one. At the end delete all of them at once.

haha i already knew about this from the fricken itunes help thingy. i wanted to do it automatically instead of deleting manually through my tons of music.

@gumbaskater if you have windows it is in file > display duplicates

i done this and took a risk, i displayed dubs. then hit ctrl +a (wndows 7) then hit delete on the keyboard and then clicked show all.

well let say i went of 68GB of music down to on 32.5GB of music..
