  • Carl, you HAVE to reedit this song. In fact, the whole Elf Tales album!

  • @shapein

That is in the works! We will be releasing an Anniversary Edition of the "Elf Tales" album. Fully remixed and remastered. Will greatly approve the audio quality of the original release. Should be out sometime in 2012.

    Carl

  • Hi Carl, apologies, only listened to the first track, is that one on a CD? I would really like to get it.

  • @aubs1100 Hi - The first track is called "Elf Rock", which is on the on the out of print cd from Magic Elf called "Elf Tales". We may re-release that album later this year. You can check my website for available titles! Thanks - Carl

  • the only thing keeping me from sounding like Carl Roa is a mogami cable! And a bajillion hours of practicing...

  • "and believe it or not " Sorry I don't, you're a great player , great tone, but the cable talk is straight up voodoo. Lot of put up or shut up challenges out there where you could walk away with $1M ( that goes for everybody ) if you can identify what cable is what in a blind controlled test . Speaker length and gauge do come into affect, but just those two factors, and only after you reach lengths most of us would never use.

  • I use Mogami Platinum guitar and Gold patch cables, pretty happy. Use Monster cables for backup as they pick up noise too easily but they do have brighter sound so I switch for some things but with that sound noises come in more easily. The Mogami Platinum is worth the investment.

  • @traceur73 platinum is better than gold and more expensive.

  • if platinium is GOOD IMAGINE GOLD =0

  • Beautiful tone. Heck if it don't sound like the late great Shawn Lane's tone. Sounds great Carl.

  • great video!

if you want , watch my little demo cables.
