  • This is the most melodious music ever written for the cinema it has echos of Vaugn Williams

  • Miklos Rozsa is one of my favorite composers, and he has never been greater than in his music for EL CID; this theme is just breathtakingly beautiful. Gorgeous performance by the conductor and orchestra here!

  • Beautiful piece.

  • This song puts my parrot to sleep at night , but first he listens to the soundtrack from " The Vikings part 4 or 4) on youtube with Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh... this one is the top off , whilst he is IN his cage. His eyes go soft and sleepy , it's soooo, cute, I chated with the guy who did the Viking video and mention his music, andhe commented back. hahah, his little dog crawled onto his lap to listen too. hahaha...Music is powerful, animals know best.

  • battal gazi song

  • @Cuchasoft qué bonito! En qué idioma es?

  • Only two words! Beautiful! Delight! What an elementary power of the music, it's so emotional! Balázs from Hungary

  • My Cid Ruy Díaz entered Burgos

    in his company sixty pennons,

women and men came out to see him,

burghers, men and women, are at their windows,

weeping from their eyes, they felt such sorrow,

from their mouths all said one thing,

-¡God, what a good vassal, if he had a good lord!-

  • I've never seen El Cid before, but listening to these tracks definitely makes me want to see it cause I LOVED Rozsa's work on Ben-Hur.

  • What dignified music!

  • @billyguns2

Hm.....as a debate: His Ben Hur score is as great.
