Verne Langdon takes an introspective look at his own mortality in this song from his latest album of heart-tugging vocals, Verne Langdon Love Is All. Originally composed in 1970 by Langdon and fellow song writer Milt Larsen, "Just A Memory" was the featured soliloquy in "Aladdin", a musical show for Larsen's popular Mayfair Music Hall by the Pacific ocean in Santa Monica, California. Appropriately enough, Langdon and Larsen wrote the song one afternoon in Hollywood's famed Magic Castle, also a creation of the entrepreneurial Milt Larsen, using Invisible Irma's baby grand piano to facilitate the melody and harmonies. Other meaningful songs included in the "Love Is All" album are Once Upon A Very Special Time, To Sleep Perchance To Dream, Buried Treasure, Nights Like This, Carousel Dreams, Waiting Games, Lovers & Other Strangers, Kill The Rain, and Love Is All.

Verne, your music is like a trip to a magical land that is far away and yet just at arms length. Poignant, evocative and thought provoking. You are so very talented and we are lucky to have you HERE on earth! Keep up the wonderful work. Much love to you always.
