It was Pendolino-tastic at Northampton Station on Saturday 1st September 2007, as all trains were being diverted North of Milton Keynes and South of Rugby through Northampton. 390 029 "City of Stoke on Trent" heads South

  • Just becouse the other day i went to see 34067 Tangmere Slough station wicth has ticket barriers and they would let me on the platform and i dident get to see it! what are they like with leting enthueasts on the platform at Northampton?

  • I think you would be OK - they seem pretty friendly. If not, you can always go to the overflow car park just to the South of the station. Good viewing right next to the track.

  • haha, luvin the 15mph limit through northampton, shame they got rid of the 87s though, I enjoyed those a lil bit more
