Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) told CBS that she wouldnt judge people based on their sexual preferences. However, just a few weeks later, she admitted that she nevertheless doesnt believe in marriage equality and voiced support for the Federal Marriage Amendment. Today, Ellen DeGeneres responded to Palins comments: I dont know if you saw this, but vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin said shes in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically, she wants to change the constitution. So if youre wondering — Im sure you are — how I feel about this, I dont like it. I dont like it. I dont agree. And I dont know what people are scared of. Maybe they think that their children will be influenced, and I got to say — I was raised by two heterosexuals and they did not influence me.

  • I believe in god. I believe when times are changing, God changes too. In the bible, it said that man has complete control over his wife. That OBVIOUSLY would not be accepted today. The one thing God believes in the most is to LOVE. And I think he loves everyone, gay or straight, black or white, boy or girl. Being Gay can not be controlled "as if someone would CHOOSE, to be bullied and mocked all their lives" (Kurt Hummel). Let them be free.

  • @WRCaple7 First of All, I'm straight, and I believe that bans on Gay Marriage should be TORE the FUCK down. It is the 21st Century, and we still have RACISM, SEXISM, and BIGOTRY because of disgusting people like YOU. And to use 'God' as a shield to justify your disgusting beliefs is a disgrace to the entire human race. We have names for people who believe things with no rational justification: Mad, psychotic, and Delusional.

Btw, 'In God We Trust' was added to everything in the 1950s.

  • @Clawdeen1234Wolf And where did you find that out? The Bible? Did you know the bible also supports Patriarchy? The world is constantly changing and evolving. Unfortunately the Bible can't evolve with it and it's way out of date. I believe in God, but I know he isn't a bigot like you.

  • @AnnieKCleary uh one i believe in Jahova that is gods name and he does NOT like people to chose to be gay same sex marriaage is wrong

  • @TheCrazedGuitarist Oh, I'm scared, please don't. Guess what? Did I say Christianity was perfect? No. Those events are long past, the Church has changed since then. What are you defending, Muslims? Just here to pick on religion in general? If you are, I can't help you. Find someone else to without a life to badger, because you can't win against me.

  • @Ruffian123Forever Inquisition, Crusades.....two things CHRISTIANS DID WHICH WAS BASED ON HATE. Boom! I just slammed you.

  • @Encephalitisify Here it is in a nutshell. ETHICS is right/wrong based on what society deems proper/illegal. MORALS are based on a person's religion/philosophies. I don't know what you're understanding of religion is, but you're obviously not religious, so it can't be that good.

There are radicals of all religion. But Christianity is founded on love and forgiveness, while in Islam, a distant derivative, the Quran leads some radical Muslims to think, "All infidels(non-converters) should die."
