Bobby Vann / The best Of the Goodies
A curious 1964 album. Never did find anything about the existence of this New Orleans based compilation not even on Google.
According to the cover lines it's a private initiative of the DJ Bobby Vann and an advertiser on his Radio Station WJBW Johnny Schofield. Most importantly, a beautiful early compilation LP with many at the time, still unknown New Orleans R&B stars including Johnny Adams with the very nice I Won't Cry and Earl King supplemented with some Chess label artists.
