Never forget tohoku. Never give up on yourself or others because that is when you truly die. But when all hope is lost, have faith and look to a power greater than yourself and everything will be ok.

  • Trust works for me. If you doubt something, usually it will fail. I didn't say absolute trust, know your boundaries obviously but I was having my moment I wasn't gonna nitpick or edit it.

  • Thank you Chris, you have a good heart!

  • ご苦労様でした!

Thanks for posting these videos. I'm getting ready to spend a month in Touhoku travelling by bicycle & volunteering along the way. I have been following the disaster closely since I happened to see it virtually live online. Your raw video of choking up may be a bit hazukashii but I'm glad you showed it. It reminds me to be flexible in my schedule. Maybe I will have to allow a few days away from the coast and maybe I will want to stay in place for longer and skip somewhere else.

  • DO NOT GIVE UP!! THEY NEED YOU!!!

  • Ofunato is where I from.

When tsunami rushed toward my hometown, I was in my house with my grandma. And we can escape from tsunami in the nick of time. Thank u for your volunteer activity...!

  • I am a friend of Masa. He suggested me to watch your video on Youtube... and so I saw this video as well. I normally do not comment, but I have to this time to show you my respect to you and all the volunteers.

It must be very shocking whatever you saw. I could not possibly imagine. I hope that you are feeling slightly better by now. You did an excellent job. You all need to remember, we need to be reminded. Your message was important to us.d so

    Thank you so much Chris.

  • there you go, mate. you understand it now. keep up the good work. re-charge, think about what you can do and give it your all again...the completed movie will be a reflection of this!!...xxx

  • i totally adore you and i admire all you have done to help Japan

  • Maybe it's the fact that I'm currently sick which has got me more emotional than usual, but this video had me in tears. It's really true that people act so powerless yet they have that very power to make things brighter, if not change them. I can't imagine the emotional backlash that you endured on your trip, let alone those feelings of the people who lost everything. The flicker of light are the people who extend their hand to others not out of obligation, but out of love. I wish you the best

  • Glad you made uit back safe.
