I think the kicks are a little too much for this heavy type of kick, I'd say make the kick a little less loud and you can keep this sequence, but if you want to keep this hard kick I'd say delete some of em, make em more relaxed, you probably know what I mean

I know exactly what you mean. i like the bass sound itself, but you'd like it less often so its a constant flow and you can keep your head bobbing. And im with you, but the heavy, fast kicks is Amar's style and thats why i love him for it, its unique.

haha, that is indeed a trick to make it sound uptempo, but once you listen closer you'll know that it doesn't really sound great, if you just make them a little less on the foreground it'll be alright, if you listen to stoupe's (jmt) beats on servants in heaven kings in hell, you'll hear that he has alot of kicks and even a lot of snares, but they're not so loud so it really blends in well
