Also I just though of something, how could Near be L's reincarnation if Near was already alive when L died...

Is it just me who thinks Light/Kira is the most fascinating character created? because he is not all good like 99% of the 'good' anime heroes - he's got a flaw but thats what makes him more human, doesn't it? i cried at the end of the series - esp when he sees L, did anyone else cry because of that too?

I like how they did not drag out Death Note like all the other major anime's because any more and it would have just ruined the whole thing. This anime is so great because its short which keep people wanting to it again and again!

@littleboat21 yep i cried as well and i luv light as youre right because of the flaw i think it makes him more human but also more mysterious because of his background you have an idea of why he is the way he is and why he has that flaw but youre not certain, basically it leaves you to draw youre own conclusion and i really really like that about him !

I don't think I could decide between L and Light. They're both amazing. The only time I cried was in Execution, when Light's father was going to kill light and Misa. I see Light as a sort of "fall from grace" kind of character and his intentions were amazing in my opinion. I'm a Kira supporter, but not in a psychotic way. I believed Light could have done it, had he not lost himself. Both are visionaries of justice, even if Light took a different path to ending crime. I love Kira/Light/L<3

@xxsisz4evaxx [SPOILER!] At first I thought, I also stopped being a fan of him. But when he died, and when Misa died, and when everything ends for ihm, i only wanted to cry. Everytime I hear this it gives me the shivers. Death Note was the best fcking thing I've ever seen. I wished, there would be some other ends. Or specials. And read the end of the manga- Its way heavier :D
