clarence RIP.. the funny thing is, I love this solo, but it offers no resolution.. it barely ever hits 'that note'. (bruces creation no doubt).. maybe thats why I like it. There's more to the story, the song hasn't ended yet. But Bruce, couldn't you have given Clarence 'that note'? Maybe that encompasses the art of the song itself. Jungleland has no happy ending, it just goes on and on... but Clarence reeeallly needed (and I bet he reeaally wanted) 'that note'.

Wow, THAT is really sad. Here in Brazil the news about Springsteen and the group are not so common, so I've just got it that Big Man's dead. THAT IS REALLY SAD.
Never again will I hear some damn perfect solos.
