Rare Walt Disney Space series from 1955, speculating about going into Space. Remember, more than 50 years ago, Sputnik hadn't even gone up yet!

I used to get depressed about it, 25-years ago. Then I got my ass in gear, and got to work on the problems of spaceflight, making it cheaper, safer, FASTER. And I am successful. All of us must do our part, don't expect the government togive you accesss to space, we mist all work really hard for it, if we want it. Nothing good comes without hard work and sacrifice. We can do this, cheaper and better and faster than even Von Braun and Willy Ley and Hermann Oberth thought possible!
Good catch on the roman numerals, but copyright is not when you created something. Its just the latest time you are claiming ownership to legally keep claim to something.
This was originally broadcast in 1955, then theatrically (in movie theaters) in 56 & then re-broadcast in 59. In creating this version that I posted (oh, I'm Banyt too :-), they must have used the 59 version.
I do the same on software I release. Usually you show each copyright date.

"back in 1955"
you don't realize it, but "they" did the most advanced space exploration "back then"
we haven't been doing anything but riding von braun's coat tails since "back in 1955"
Just one thing though - the copyright at the end states 1959. So this was actually made two years after Sputnik.
