Anyone know how old Criqui is? I think he has a hang up about it. You can't find out anywhere online. Just heard him do the Pats preseason game. Had a lot of blunders. A friend said to give him a break because he is like 70 years old. Maybe we will never know.

i remember back in the 80's early 90's don criqui use to call houston oiler games whenever they played a afc team, and i loved this guys emotions & passion. his voice is a legend. damn where in the hell did the greats like criqui go? man everytime i hear his voice it takes me back to the 80's when i was 17 or 18. now we have to deal with motherfuckers like cris collinsworth, that fat ass gumble, & a few others who should'nt even be within a 100 miles of a microphone. thanks mr. criqui one love

Don Criqui is one of the best announcers. I'm not sure why I he doesn't do television games.

Don Criqui should do more games and Verne Lundquist should do 1-3 NFL games.
Criqui, Lundquist and James Brown are, I believe, the only CBS announcers who were employed by CBS in the pre-Jim Nantz era (aka the Frank Glieber era).
