@marto1612 Actually a lot if not a majority of all musical genres are well established, universality has nothing to do with it seeing how that would refer to the music genre being universalized, which would be next to making no sense. Also to say that they hold no strong attachment would hold no bearing either. I am 'reverting to unsubstantiated' claims simply because you're coming off as an elitist idiot attempting to thwart me in a battle of wits, but knowing you're going to lose.

@MrChaos667 refer to entities in the way you see appropriate. it is a matter of choice, especially considering musical genres are far from highly established due to their lack of universality and strong attachment to point of origin. it's rather unfortunate reverting to unsubstantiated claims such as that I may be cloaking a lower intelligence by setting an environment of higher one. no more than 50/50 chance on that. I really don't see much more than an unprovoked attempt in confrontation here.

@marto1612 You know that when a person attempts to sound more sophisticated, or intelligent, they are really hiding the fact that they are of average/lower intelligence. In a nutshell you are trying to say that you don't classify music, you just listen to it. Fair enough, but that does not change the fact of well established genres. It's like having a dog, and disregarding breeds because you feel they are one in the same.

@MrChaos667 that's why this here is a platform for expression of opinions. variation of opinions was in fact what first called for establishing a scale on which to classify or rather simplify the complex universe of comprehensible harmonies. see, most people aren't capable of operating on a complex level. however, as one who neither wants, nor needs to simplify music of my liking, I choose to remove division and instead consider own taste. no need to brand personal choice as "lame rhetoric"
