Promotional tape made for VHS distribution. Spitfire was based in Edgware Road , London and pioneered the use of BetaSP component editing.
Run by Stefan and Tricia Sargent, more than 50% of its work came from TV-am, London's breakfast television station. When TV--am lost it's license to transmit (beaten by Carlton in a bidding war) Spitfire closed soon after. The video features a world of soon to be outdated equipment: Quantel's Harry, Ampex BetaSP machines, Abekas A72 character generators.
