To: Onision Re: Sluts

This is in response to the hour or so of footage that Onision has released in the last week. I'm only making a video because he refuses to allow comments on his own videos. He claims this is because he doesn't care what the haters think, but in actuality, he's terrified of the backlash for the offensive things that he's chosen to say. He can't handle being told that he's wrong and he refuses to educate himself on the issues that he thinks he knows everything about already.

I didn't get to touch upon nearly as much as I would've liked to in this video because I'm very uncomfortable on camera. I'm much more capable of expressing my views in writing than I am in speaking publicly. It took a lot for me to consider making this video, but I have such strong feelings towards what he said, and towards the systematic oppression of women that he so casually laughs at, that I put this together. I am not impressed by your presentation. You are taking your subject's words out of context and you are comparing verbal sexual harassment by the girlfriend to wearing short skirts and dancing. Repeatedly telling a guy that you want to do him sexual favors is not the same as dancing. Apples and oranges.

@Ray77063 So telling a man she wants to do sexual things with him at some point means that she should be ready and willing whenever he deems appropriate? Consent is not something that, once given, it is always there. It's not something that one should assume is there just because a person will want to do something in the future. It has to be given at the time of the act in order to be valid. And sexual harassment is an unwanted sexual comment. Onision makes no claim of not wanting her to say it.

@jessaymack It takes two to tango. She could have gotten out of the bed, dressed, and gone home, any time she wants to. From the story, it looks as though BOTH were willing to knock boots! You know the truth. SHE TAUNTED HIM with suggestive language! The young woman (and I use the term lightly) is not innocent in this! No one spread her legs for her. Just like no one took O's penis and inserted it into her for him. Get real! It was consensual sex, not rape.

She very clearly stated in the letter that she said "no no no" and that he IGNORED this and kept going, so, knowing that he wasn't going to stop, she gave up. That is not consent, not even close.

I feel bad for any woman you encounter, because you clearly do not understand consent and think you have a right to a woman's body. Please educate yourself.

The reason for women being brought up with being ashamed about sex is about male dominance & control of women's sexuality, by men for men, not for the woman. I disagree with what @Ray77063, I think you did an excellent job presenting the facts and I agree with your video 110% We have a right to say no at anytime and not feel pressures. I myself was in a situation last week where the guy continued to pressure me several times after I had told him no not happening.

@jessaymack She did? I stand corrected! There is no excuse for any person to force him/herself on any other person. I believe I was in the fifth grade when I learned that "no" means "no". Remember those shirts that read , "What part of "no" don't you understand?" I have responded in ignorance. I am *truly* sorry. The fact that she withdrew consent really does change everything.
