This piece sounds very active, unlike Chopin's other nocturnes which are dark and relaxing. Chopinfan 89 helps to create the action in this piece.

wow very good, I'm learning this now with my teacher. Just a few constructive criticisms:
-Try to make the right hand considerably louder than the left, it is the melody afterall, and its hard to control the left hand with all the long stretches
-also, maybe you just finished learning the piece and are intimidated, but you should work on making the dramatic part more intense you know what I mean? keep it up, please check out my latest video of fantasie impromptu!!! 5 stars for you
Yeah, I see what you mean about the upper hand thing - I'm still striving to master that important element. It's also the location of the camera: on the left side of the piano, so the bass is indeed more prominent. And yes, I just recently finished mastering it, and am continously working on the faster part. It sure is a beautiful piece - one of my favorites.
