Brandon Meets the Heroin Twins

Brooke and Tiffany are 23-year-old twins addicted to heroin and prescription drugs. They live together with their children, two 4-year-olds and a 4-month-old, and often go on drug-finding field trips as a family. I have walked down the road of Dr. induced addiction to stop maddening pain in my back and I also have kids. It eventually becomes this all consuming thought to merge off the highway of helplessness into the land of being once again sane and free. I think even if you are following prescriptions to the letter you can still empathize with the loss of control and fear that grips you into believing it is too scary to stop forever. You need someone to come in like paramedics swoop in to a tragedy.

Heroin is not measured in CCs or units. Unless.. you're dividing it among friends.. which is a completely different aspect. I am a heroin addict and if I had kids, I would change my life in an instant. It is a never-ending battle, but I've cleaned up before and if it came down to the life and development of a child, especially my own, my fucking children would come first and I would clean up my act. Disgusting excuse for a human. Apathetic in every sense of the word.
