Lmao! I had pet ducks too and was musing about the exact same thing -_- Maybe the problem here was that there was no suitable prey nearby. And you forgot to mask him, which would've honed his killer instincts once unmasked ^_^

I am afraid the cushion method has been tried but my tortoise just wanted to shag it. I am now trying a method taken from the Nordic Book of Tortoise Hurling . This is a controversial book and only a few copies have survived the The Great Purge of 1685. The method rests upon the assumtion that tortoises become aerodynamic when a velocity of 135.5 MPH has been reached and I am at the moment constructing a ' Nordic Flinger ' which was last built in Norway in 1683.

sit!!
Would these training methods apply to tortoises as well as ducks, as I have an extremely attack minded tortoise who is finding the concept of flying a bit challenging.

@ventnor501 Well, thats a hard one I must say, perhaps if you strapped a cushion underneath the tortoise that could help, but then it might just attack the cushion.
I'll give it some thought and let you know.
