Recently my grandmother has developed a bad allergy to corn because everything is full of either corn syrup and/or some other corn product. Her lips and eyes get all puffy after eating any product with corn now. Due to my grandmother's new corn allergy I avoid stuff with HFCS as I don't need to allergic to corn myself.

BTW if you ever get a craving for a Coke try to find ones from Mexico or other countries where HFCS are banned.

The purest stuff to consume = Go to your local "Certified Organic Farm" (or better yet Grow it yourself in your own, or a neighbours, garden) and eat and preserve the fruit and veg. that you buy/grow! If you are a "Meat Eater", go to a "Certified and Registered Livestock Farmer" that ONLY raises "FREE RANGE"...and butchers on their property if possible. VISIT the farm! (They DO allow it if they have nothing to hide!) Farmers LOVE it! At least the ones I live near do!

@ttennebekim2325 About my grandmother- she discovered that it was a medication she was taking, which was causing her reactions, as the doctor said if she was allergic to HFCS she would be allergic to corn in its natural state.

Anyway, I still avoid HFCS like the plague even though a friend of mine seems to get me to buy low fat products containing it and urging me to buy those "diet" products too.

@hamstergeisha76 HFCS cannot cause a corn allergy. HFCS is a sugar solution and your body will not create an immune response to the two sugars in it. In fact, if it did, you'd die.

As a person who is coming back from being sick, I have learned that ANYTHING boxed, prepared is suspect ! HFCS is just one aspect, GMO(frankenfoods) preservatives, plastics (BHP,BPA)

Its not about making money, its about eugenics.. why else would the water , air and prescription meds CAUSE more illness( CANCER for one) then simply masking symptoms of diseases (they CURE nothing). SEE the total picture, the sum of it all, sort of speak

I totally agree with u! That Sweet Surprise commercial really backed fired on them.You go online -find out all the negatives about Corn Syrup,then one day that commercial comes back on and straight up lies to your face.

If Corn Syrup was really good for you their would be NO need for those sweet disaster commercials! If you ever need a shopping list with foods without CornSyrup let me know i will email it to you:)

The corn they use to make high fructose corn syrup is a genetically modified corn that was created by the big evil GMO and chemical company Monsanto. GMO food is bad, any food product that contains corn or soy is GMO. Please take into consideration that 90% of soy and corn grown across the globe are GMO. Scary isn't it?
