The chord progression in the piece was in 1973 used as a basis for a pop song by Barry Manilow: "Could It Be Magic". This song is also covered by Donna Summer (1976) and Take That (1992). Furthermore the chord progression appears in Visions Prelude by Angra (2001).

0:28 it should be an E natural. the revisions by other people had it changed to an Eb. Chopin knew better than they did.
