legend..i tried playing docks music for some folks at work and they HATED IT. how can you not LOVE this mans music..he is and will always be remmembered by the people who apreciate this mans ability to just express what he sang with such feeling and awesome style. love this recording..there used to be some live footage of dock in his later years on you tube a few years back but the user deleted it..sux

@mtthwdvs You could say that, but you'd have to define where you draw the line between invention and modification. True, the five string banjo is just a modified African banjo, but that was just an adaptation of something else, as was that from yet something else, and so on till you get the first stringed instrument. So I guess it's up you to call it how you see it.
