Southgate's Beverly Hills Supper Club Fire Location

Walking down the curving road down the hillside. At one point I could see a lone fire hydrant back in a small clearing, but it doesn't show up in the video. The camera's batteries died right as I was recording. I meant to say at the end that the cement & stone light pedestal where I was standing still had a few links of chain attached to one end, and on top were some melted blue pieces of plastic, apparently remnants of the building itself.

U.S. 27 in Southgate. Look for the Historical Marker. You'll see a gate and a long driveway going up into the woods. The Southgate police patrol is regularly and they will cite you if you trespass. Up in that tangle of woods there was once a very large Supper Club that hosted first-rate entertainment. Many people died there so don't disturb the place. And if you somehow make it up there, don't take anything away from it!!

@MsMercury- LOL, indeed, it certainly didn't. No, I was no where near Cincinnati when this fire happened, and I was too young to remember it in the news even if I were in Cincy. I only learned of this story after I had moved to Cincy. In fact, in the late '90s, when they had the 20th anniv of the fire, I couldn't figure out why all the local papers kept devoting so much print towards a fire in Beverly Hills. It wasn't until later that I learned that the BHSC was actually located near Cincy.
