For the full Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 review, go to http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/digital-cameras/panasonic-lumix-dmc-lx5/...

We had to wait two years for Panasonic to revamp the LX3, so when we initially locked eyes with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, a tidal wave of question marks bombarded our minds. How is this a different camera? Why has hardly anything changed on the outside? However, upon further investigation, it was apparent that nearly all of the LX5's improvements resided under the hood, including AVCHD Lite with full manual video controls, gaggles of Art filters for creative expression, new image processing, and other enticing features. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 battles the Canon PowerShot G12 and Nikon Coolpix P7000, and we'll tell you that the little LX5 gives both of the aforementioned giants a run for their money.

  • I am confused. am more of a ¨Point & shoot in AF mode¨ person. I am coming from a Mini DV Digital tape video camera. I am getting LOST in the video formating. Will this camera let me choose between HD and SD in video mode? I ask because the new full HD cameras require a monster processor in your computer to play, edit and copy your video to DVD. Plus, in HD, you need a blue ray to transfer your video and in SD you can use a regular DVD disc and player. Correct? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP

  • @DFD737 Yup, you can shoot in SD.

    Kundenrezensionen:

  • Lack of optical viewfinder was a deal breaker for me, I went for the Canon G12 :)

  • @gedoumazoutsuki WTF?!! A very few (not all nor little) reviews by Kai DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!! He spends the time making unfunny jokes and his reviews are way too loose, not to the point and hard to go through. Besides, he complains too much, rarely you will hear the guy saying a camera is great

  • @Meshwork123 LOL already seen digitalrev tv?

i think kai's video are better: because of the intro, the recording, their interativ hands one...

anyway go watch digitalrev tv to compare.
