Thats pretty nice, this should be done user friendly for all games... what framerate you experiencing? Is it a strain on your system? Oh yeah and what specs you have? :)

i have Core2Duo 6600, 4gb RAM and ATI Radeon 4870. I never use AA or AF and it runs almost as fast as 1 screen.  It's just a prove of concept thing, because as others said: playing ut with joypad is not fun - not even in splitscreen.

Why won't somone just make a mod for this so that people can switch models and such. It really pisses me off how the UT3 PC community can act.

@Ecos17 Maybe because you need at least 1 joypad and cant play network games while split is on. Not playing with joypad is the most important advance that the pc community has over the console noobs ;D

I did not want to say that I am against that idea, or that those reasons make it useless. I just tried to answer why noone makes a mod. Must be no motivation for coders with only very few people who would use it under those circumstances.

Playing UT with joypad is no fun anyway, not even in splitscreen :D

BTW I really enjoyed old splitscreen games like need for speed games and coop singleplayer shooter on PC. And I hate that splitscreen is not added in todays pc-games where it could!

it's not a big problem to make the game with split screen mode(j am talking about shooting games), the biggest problem is to use the second or third mouse on the same computer, and as far as j know the only game that supported this mode is serius sam the secund encounter (targeting is very important)

@supersizevideos Why would you play Splitscreen online anyway ? To me splitscreen is meant for offline purposes but its cool I don't have UT3 on my computer due to lack of mods and less than desirable community. I wasn't lashing out at you btw just giving my input =).
