The concerted and biased attempts to destroy Allegros discoveries have failed. The confirmatory evidence is mounting in his favor. The critics can now raise their voices again. Let us hope that they do, since the matter is not settled, but they should be advised to do so with more careful consideration. This book that many have prized in secret is now available again. It demands the serious consideration of theologians, mythologists, and students of religion. No account of the history of the Church, both West and East, can afford to leave the poor despicable fungus unconsidered, nor the role that entheogens in general have played in the evolution of European civilization.

Agree with some others, some of the comparisons seemed pretty far reaching and I had to do a couple eye rolls. However, you did give me a topic to study and learn more about. Song was good but a tad bit high for the narrator's voice tended to blend in. I will research more, with an open mind, and come back to give you a thumbs up if you points seem valid.

@MyViews This is ONLY an AD for the republication of the book, not the book itself, not the DVD, nor the other work. Now which comparisons did you have to role your eyes at? And was that because you formed a conclusion before doing diligent study? Or did you only see this and then roll your eyes because the topic is new to you and you haven't studied it yet. There's a huge difference.
