This is an investigative report by KWTV News 9 into the true cost of requring health insurance to cover diagnosis and treatment of autism in children. One of the biggest battles at the State Capitol in 2008, 2009 and likely beyond is the fight to require health insurance to cover the disorder. At issue is estimates as to the cost. Supporters of "Nick's Law" - including Senator Jay Paul Gumm - say the cost is minimal. Opponents, including the Republican leadership of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, produced a study that shows much higher costs.
