Love this song from "Cat and the Fiddle" -- it was also nicely done by Jeanette MacDonald in the MGM film from 1934. Thanks!

thanks, great music.

Sublime! What a gorgeous, lilting melody - Ambrose's urbane early 30's sound comes across beautifully, not to mention the excellent vocal (Sam Browne in top form!) Thanks for posting this!

Quite a find - very nice thank you....

Yes do one on Sam. I don't really know a great deal about him and it would go down a treat. I have a 1950's Phillips 78 of the 'Sam Browne Singers' could this be one of his last?

He sure is!!!

Sam Browne was a lovely vocalist. He had a great personality too. From this lovely reccording, you've inspired me to do a similar story of him, the same as I did for Al Bowlly.
Thanks!

What a great idea!I always think he does get overlooked as everyone is so keen on Al(with good reason)and he isn't nearly so well known, yet just as good'his voice obviously being quite different to Als

I so often forget to credit the vocalist,Sam Browne, who i think is one of the best vocalists of the 1930s.
