Tough euphonium part in the trio, runs up to high Bb.
-
It wasn't originally an Irish rebel song. It was a British military march written some time in the late 19th century.

The Old Brigade is a slow march written in 1881 with music by an Irishman Odoardo Barri (pseudonym for Edward Slater) and words by Frederic Weatherly. It was popularised by a 1926 recording by Peter Dawson.[1] This is a slow march that is always played at the annual Festival of Remembrance and at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday when the Chelsea Pensioners march.
