is there added midi latency that way? I'm so meticulous about latency issues. I just die when i use a PC because they have the worst latency problems ever.
it's not midi latency i'm afraid of i suppose, forget what i said. It's audio latency i have a problem with. It's just that the macs i've dealt with deal with audio latency and stuff. I don't know why i even mentioned midi latency, yeah PC's are fine as far as midi goes. It's just the response from VST's i don't like. On macs it's fine though. My pc IS probably seven years old though lol.

I'm using a (kinda inexpensive) M-Audio "Firewire Solo" interface and an Axiom 49.
