I watched this too, from Karanganyar Solo, on top of a hill. It was sooo beautiful and serene. And yes, it looked like sunset, but the light were everywhere on horizon, not just at one corner only. Very rare mood. We made some photographs, but not video. :(

aku belum lahir waktu itu. soalnya aku lahirnya tahun 1993. jadi 10 tahun kemudian setelah itu, aku baru lahir tanggal 16 agustus 1993

I was at Kuta Beach, Bali, during this eclipse, where it was 95% partial. It was around midday, the streets were deserted, the light seemed to shimmer, and yes it became quite cool. Normally around 34 degrees at midday, I would guess it dropped to the low 20's.

i remember this happening in 1983 because i was in the 6th grade and i remember telling people that it happened at 9:30am central time in texas. we all caught a glimpse of this extrordanary event. this was a remarkable event i remember as a kid.
