its funny how all of the bad things bush did were incredibly liberal. growing the power of the federal government moreso than any president before him is NOT what a true conservative would have done. it is not liberty when the government forces you to do a certain thing, even if it is merely by raising taxes on a certain industry in favor of another. If you give the government the power to do that, which industry will they cripple with taxes next? What you seem to favor, though not socialism is very close to the slavery you appear to dislike, so needless to say im more than a little confused
