Whooooo Buddy .... Can You Smell The Pork Butts?????

Put on around 90 pounds of Boston Butts for a party here on Saturday and a whole bunch for a Grad Party I was serving at on Sunday.
Cookin' then North Carolina style on my wood/gas hybrid cooker. Made by a feller named Harley in NC.
The gas keeps the temperature steady at 275º to 300º .... no higher than that!! Slow and Low.
The woodbox lets me put in hickory to wash and bathe and tickle the butts.... M-m-m-m-m-m-m-...... good eatin'.

Saturday night we ate and played music with good friends as a huge storm with Tornados passed by ........... certainly put an edge on the hoot-n-nanny!!!!!
Had a dang fine jam. I was way to busy to pick up the camera and film during the party .... my regrets.

No instructions on any of this ..... just the way I roll when we have a big shindig, soiree, get-together, pig pickin' donnybrook jam!!!
When it was all done I rested in my hammock .... sweet!!!!

Have not been backpacking so this video is just some filler 'till I can get out in the Fall.
Been real busy with shows and Summertime social events ..... a constant party in Shug-town. My wife is a socialite.

I appreciate you watching......
All secure and piggy in sector seven,
Shug of the Sweet Meat
Prince of Pork ...... Haaaaa ;-)

  • @shugemery HEY man....my daddy built that grill. We had a man call us from Charleston wanting one because of your video! How awesome! You should see some of the grills he has now. He has been making them for about 20 years. You have one of the older versions. They have just about everything you can think of on them now! He told me to tell you that if you wanted to upgrade he would give you a deal! I could send you come pictures if you wanted! My name is Brittany and I would love to talk to you!
