Buy tx2000z it is 100 times better, i love mine! (active digitizer) cheapest smallest tablet on the market.

I have tx1000 too i say dont buy!
my stylus holder broke 4 times now, and im sending it in 5th time for repair in 1 month.. horrible horrible laptop..get iphone or ps3 or something

Buy TX2000 instead it is a major improvement with all problems above solved i hope, i just ordered one!

Netscape is available, but has frozen many times, incliding twice just while typing this comment. Sometimes one has to click "End Process" on netscape.exe.
HP DOES NOT provide discs for any of its software. Backing up the whole hard drive with another hard drive works for most files, but there exists another problem.

DO NOT BUY HP PC's IN GENERAL, MAYBE?
Same problem as number 2 above; also:
Newly updated software as of summer 2006 will not access the Internet on the Pavillion dv2171cl that I use (purchased two months before the home user versions of Vista were launched). Updated FIREFOX DOES NOT WORK, nor any automatic updates for anti-virus applications.

hey,
I since called HP and they recommended me to return it and exchange it for a new one. I'm doing that right now.
Also, this isnt a gaming computer I find. Yes, you can play age of empires iii, etc, but the graphics card is basic (its better than the intel 950 ones). However, as a tablet, its the best one in the market.
PS. hibrian - you might want to calibrate it using software.
