Some dog handlers frown upon dogs collecting the decoys but for us it is another way of utilizing man's best friend especially in much more difficult terrain than in this video ... for example: a marsh.

  • Watch it again, you can see I am sending him to fetch the decoys. Waterfowl hunting is hard work, I want my dogs to help with the decoy pickup. However, if you dont want your dog messing with dekes, you bet a wisely used training collar will help.

  • My Chesapeake crash his first time out duck hunting would not leave those decoys alone! After he retrieved the ducks though I guess I need to invest in a shock collar... What's your thoughts on getting them off the decoys?

  • Great videos! send some more ! Tim
