Voice Male - Eye of the Tiger

Voice Male is an a cappella group based in Belgium. (A cappella music is singing without instrumental accompaniment.)

It originated in the far end of the eighties, when 6 brave lads from the local cathedral choir got together after rehearsals and started to sing tunes other than the ones you would normally expect to hear in mass.

It all got seriously out of hand, and the next thing they knew, the boys found themselves with a play list of over 2.000 concerts in 15 different countries, but mainly in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.

In their nearly 20 years of singing together, Voice Male has released 8 albums. Several Voice Male tracks made it to the charts.

In 2000 they had a number 1 hit in Turkey (Zor kadIn), together with 2003 Eurovision winner Sertab Erener, and a couple of years later they topped the Belgian and Dutch charts with their rendition of the Mecano classic Hijo de la Luna, with Spanish-Belgian singer Belle Perez.

A Voice Male show is always combined with an element of fun and all six guys are lead by just one motto: to have fun on stage and to give the audience a good time.

"Eye of the Tiger" is originally performed by the American rock band Survivor from the album "Eye of the Tiger", released in 1982. It was used at the request of Sylvester Stallone for the film Rocky III.
