socialism simply means the government controls prices instead of the market, socialism with the right to own stuff is called "fascism" and socialism without the right to own stuff is called "communism"

I dont believe socialism has ever been established in any country. Thoes "socialist" countries were only "socialist" in name.

I think it is time, We the People of the United States of America, make a difference. I am trying to start a movement to reform everything. we are currently living in a socialist America and i want to change that. Please do not think I am to one sided.

In every socialist or communist country in the history of the world the people had no power and the government had all the power. This is ten times worse than any monopoly that has ever existed because its kinda like the gov becomes a monopoly over every industry not just one and they have control of the laws, taxes and every thing else. Socialism does NOT work on any level! Trust me Im a history major.

@TorquoiseCowboy, We have about much control over our government as a parent has over a rebellious teenager, very damn little. Its easier to stop big companies than it is a an 'out of control" government. With companies, you don't have to do business with them and you don't have to work for them. Try telling the government your going to cut off the money and you will not obey them anymore and see what you get , you'll either get locked in prison or dead. its time to read history

@TorquoiseCowboy I certainly do, I deal with an issue, healthcare, where, the main problem, come from the battle between three, power seeking groups. First you have the medical establishment , who charge exorberant prices, because they can( capitalism), second the government who wants to control it( unrestrained socialism) and finally the insurance companies( a mixture ) who pay for this "benovolence" and make a profit, all want total control, so the system works very poorly.
