The panel on Fox News Sunday talking about the Obama and McCain's policy on the economy, and Williams actually looks like he's grown a spine here for once. Hume as usual is one of the better ones spouting off RR talking points.

  • Hume's role is to interrupt Williams whenever he calls bloody bill Kristol on his bullshit. I'm almost like Barnes better because he waits his turn to spin.

  • All you have to do is look at Kristol's face when Juan Williams calls him on it. I think he's starting to realize that conservatives literally don't know what they're doing. And yes, Bush still is a conservative.

  • god is good, economy is bad ,hurricanes, high gas prices, war whinning omplaining ,hate, were being tested by god so pay attention ,we say were ready for anything or anyone cause were so proud of our country that we can hate each other we think god dosent mnd cause were only gods children ,wrong! for the things this country has done we deserve what were getting, just be glad that the lord is merceful than bush!

  • I swear Hume is the creepiest muthafucker on TV. He looks like the illegitimate love child of Nancy Reagan, Fred Thompson & Rupert Murdoch. And the way he whispers those Republican Elite talking points makes it sound like high taxes for the top 10% is the end of the world.

  • Aw, don't cut & run!

Newsflash for you: Many of the working poor are ALSO dependent upon Welfare & other programs because they're paid too little (q.v., Walmart).

If you have such a problem with the working poor, pay them a better wage. If you have such a problem with the rank & file, run your business WITHOUT employees on the line or behind the desks. Then you wouldn't have to bitch about issuing paychecks and paying taxes. I'm sure you bitch all the way to the bank.

  • Newsflash! The "working poor' that you refer to would be "welfare recipients" if it were not for the "rich corporatists". By the way, you are free to respond to this but I will not be responding as I have a business to run and employees to take care of. (ie. paychecks w/living wages, health care benefits, matching 401k plans, workers comp, and oh yes, taxes.)

  • You give all the credit to the rich business owners? Do their companies run themselves? Who works on those assembly lines? Who actually performs the services?

The employees, who under Bush, are often "working poor" because the poor business owners won't pay a living wage or provide adequate health benefits.

I'm tired of rich corporatists acting as if all would be right in the world if only the "little people" who earn their money for them would just get out of their way & leave them alone.

  • Lets deal w some facts The top 5% earners-$145k+ pay 60% of our nation's taxes. The bottom 50% earners pay 3%. Rebates were given out on a % basis so of course the "rich" got more back - many of whom own businesses & put that money into there companies so they could grow. Last time I checked it was the that crowd who created jobs.(Ever been hired by a poor person?)The economy and job market were doing very well up until a couple years ago. Hmmm Isn't that about the time Dems took over Congress?

  • oh my g0d, it's the end of "free trade as we know it"! quick everyone, take your cyanide now so you won't have to suffer. repent! repent! ... what a crock of shit

  • hahah - i know - he had to slap that uppity negro right back down
