It was a good joke, and I laughed too. Truth is there is a big component of "ugly guy, hot wife" in Indian cinema. We're only just getting the idea that women want to look at sexy eye candy, too. Just look at SRK practically being an item queen himself in Om Shanti Om with his song Dard-e-disco (on this very youtube) and you can see how we are finally getting some male hotness.
