Have to agree with that. Casio CTK's were dreadful compared to the Yamaha PSR range and Techincs KN range and Roland E range.

I think you should drop the keyboard talk and buy yourself a real synthesizer where you can edit your own sounds. It sounds much better and feels much better too..

I found a casio CTK 810 the same price as the Yamaha E313. The CTK 810 sounds way better than the 700 you hear up there but .... still not as good as yamaha psr e313.... the casio has piano styled keys and better learning features than the yamaha. So if you want the piano feel to it when pressing keys, i think you should go for the Casio CTK 810...
So whats more important... Sound quality or functionality and appearance????
I'm going to buy one today.. I havnt made up my mind yet

What tone did you use?
sounds great! but I have to admit that the sound is crappy. I also have this one..but im a beginner..so. first I have to learn more. then get a better keyboard

Well, I don't remember 'cause i sold it! it was pure shit. But some of the synth pads i believe.
