  • So flipping talented. Definitely one of the best voices out there.

  • @hardcoremadnesschill Are you away with it!! ..the song has a lot of meaning! ..Listen to the lyrics, she wants to go back to a time when life was simpler and music meant something and was real! ..what an idiot!

  • great - oh to be able to get off the grid! stop analysing; this is a song celbrating real life, not computer generated shit

  • great - oh to be able to get off the grid!

  • Why do people have to analyse songs so much. @FrauleinK of course punk rock and flowers in your hair weren't at the same time 77 and 69. It's in the lyrics you obviously need to take your own advice and read or listen to the lyrics. Sexual harrassement wasn't brought to the fore until late 80s early 90s maybe even longer. Get in the eras and check your info properly. People were happy then because they didn't have fools like you on their backs criticising everything they did. I was there..

  • @FrauleinK Did you live during the 60s or 70s? I doubt it because i did. The Vietnam war was not talked about a lot. The lack of computer technology meant we were restricted to the information the Americans released (not a lot because they were losing). As yet I have not seen the Vietnam war on the History syllabus in all countries.

  • people had something to revolt against, and she seeks that kind of passion today.

she isn't ranting about how today's world is a horrible place to live in, she is merely being nostalgic about a time passed and a time where she personally felt she fitted in more.

all of you haters, stop being so pedantic.

  • I wish people would stop bashing the song and her for the so-called 'contradictory' lyrics. throughout the song, you get the tone of freedom of expression and bohemianism, and this is exactly what she perhaps meant to reflect in her title. lets give her the benefit of the doubt, she probably wasn't dumb enough to think the eras existed simultaneously.

all she wishes for is a simpler time, where music was felt in the souls of the generation and not fed by consumerism, as is today.

  • lol. only 1 idiot disliked

  • WTF, pratt, do your research before you write these lyrics of bollocks! Punk came way after "the flowers in the hair". Ask any punk and see how much they'd like flowers in their hair. And times were not simpler - it just shhows you were engaged in some other kind of fuckery during history lessons at school. Vietnam war, cold war, sexual harrassment acceptable at the workplace.

  • This song is just plain beautiful, the lyrics are so clever, and the contradiction in the name means somuch!! Just amazing... :D
