Seafari Adventures (Oban) Whirlpool Special tour to the Gulf of Corryvreckan and Grey Dogs August 2009 . The Gulf of Corryvreckan is the home of the World's Third Largest Whirlpool. During Spring tides Seafari Adventures (Oban) offer tours specifically timed to see the whirlpool at its best. At these times due to the strong tides wildlife such as porpoise, bottlenose dolphin and minke whales move outside of the whirlpool area.
Seafari Adventures are based at the conservation village of Easdale, 16 miles south of Oban.

To see the Grey Dogs and the Whirlpools is an amazing sight. To be in the middle of them is an out of this world experience

Just came back from today's boat trip - had a great time! Lots of seals and dolphins, we even saw some sea eagles. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!!
