Ranger fishing

Ranger discovered the record numbers of salmon in the Carbon River in Orting, WA. When he was walking through the water he was surrounded by salmon coming up the river to spawn - at times they would jump right in front of him. He did catch one, but we made him release it. No worries, the only salmon Ranger tasted that day were live. ***IMPORTANT**** Dead Salmon can poison dogs and it is very important to be vigilant when dogs are playing on a river where spawned out salmon are dying. Dead Salmon can transmit a parasite to the dogs that can kill them.
