I can get to 3.31GHz easily by upping the FSB, but as soon as I get to 3.45Ghz, I get a BSOD. I'm leaving everything else on auto and I have an Asus P5QL Pro Motherboard. Anyone know what's going on? My CPU idles at around 31c.

Dear u have DDR-2 mobo then how u can use a ddr-3 gpu??8800gt is ddr-3

Because the DDR2 -specification of the mobo refers to the Ram memory that can be used and not the memory on the graphics card. Any motherboard that has a PCI-E slot can use a graphics card with anything from DDR to GDDR5.

You very probably have a typo. I think its Gddr3, not ddr3. 8800gt is pretty a monster(have 9800gt green, which is improved 8800), and it usually comes with gddr3. Gddr3 is A LOT faster than generic ddr3.
