  • @beeshor1 In art analysis “style” means not just a “distinctive way” but a proper way. Dorough is one of the worse singers of all times. His mannerism is just unacceptable.

  • @Rickriquinho I can see how Dorough's singing may fail to appeal to certain listeners but to claim that Dorough has "no style" is just ridiculous. He certainly has a very distinct style. One that I find very appealing. Just one word sung by Mr. Dorough and you instantly know it's him. That is the very definition of style. However, his voice isn't suited for conventional singing like Baker's or Paris' so I can see where some listeners may be turned off.

  • This is not singing. He has no style, no voice. It's just ridiculous! Listen to Chet Baker ou Jackie Paris to know what real jazz singing is.
