2008 unofficial homicide totals: Chicago 508, New Orleans 179, Newark 104, Philadelphia 332, Baltimore 234, Detroit 344, Washington, DC 186, and Boston 63. Three males were murdered in a 24-hr span in Boston, MA on Independence Day 2008. The first was shot in the head at a party, the second attacked in broad daylight, and the third was shot in the late night hour. As always, Dr. Mike is on the scene in less than 48 hours.
