Guitarist David Norstedt performs original songs in a unique style utilizing non-standard tunings on both 6 and 12 string instruments, resulting in a polyphonic aural illusion where one guitar sounds like many. Recorded live in The Atrium at TillesCenter for the Performing Arts on the CW Post campus of Long Island University in Brookville, NY during the 2010 Long Island Fringe Festival, Sept. 25 and 26.

  • I just saw David play at the 2011 Fringe Festival! Awesome!

  • Amazing! That is true talent and it can only be better in person!

  • A star is Born . This is pure real Magic created. Dave's style of playing guitar and his charismatic personality compliment each other. Rocking!!!

  • Obviously, a very talented guitar player with extraordinary finger picking. I particularly enjoy the 12 string work. As good as it sounds on you tube, it sounds even better live. Put him on the main stage!

  • Fantastic fingerstyle picking. Really different. A little too much reverb. Very interesting and creative! What tunnings is he playing in? Open D?
