So, in the end of the movie when they are downstairs in the cellar and Todd sees the woman he just killed (the homeless lady) and gets mad. The woman he killed was his wife, that Mrs. Lovett had said was killed by the judge. .Mrs. lovett lied to Sweeney so she could have him for herself. she new his wife was still alive. and that's why she deserved to die. if you would've payed attention you would know this loll

@TheMKThornton How can you say that? She was the driving force! If she'd have told Sweeney that his wife and Johanna were alive from the very start then things would have been very different. She guided Sweeney's hand to slit those throats - even though she didn't physically do it herself.
