  • At the age of 68,I can remember the old tent meetings and and brush arbors. There is still a brush arbor close to San Marcus,Tx.The sounds of the music flowing through the open country at eventide, even as a child, still ring in my ears, and if you've ever heard gospel music making it's way thru the tall pine trees of East Texas you are truly Blessed.More of the old Hymns should be heard today to give our children a foundation in the great old Gospel.God Bless You All!

  • EINFACH FANTASTISCH Mann fuehlt sich wie am Himmel - doch so schoen; wenn nicht schoener, wie wir es im Wirklichkeit erleben duerfen. Danke Gaither Gesangsgruppe.

  • @aTruster. I have the words to many hymns memorized. I can recite not a single sermon from memory. “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so” has been called the greatest sermon ever preached. Besides, the Gaithers do "preach" and testify at their concerts all the time, especially Bill, Gloria and Mark. I would not be so quick to judge whether someone's worship has currency with God or not. That's between his heart and God's.

  • There are too many places in the Bible where we are told to sings praises to God to even begin to list them all here. The following list of Scriptures is just a small sample: I Chron. 16:9, 23; 2 Sam. 22:50; Ps. 7: 17; 9: 11; 18:49; Act 16:25; James 5:13. The last thing Jesus and his disciples did at his last Passover was to sing a hymn--Matt. 26:30. There is great power in music. The Psalms were originally set to music and sung. This helped the people who had no Bibles to memorize them.

  • @aTruster you know, some people dont respond to preaching as well as they do to music, thatss how they teach, is not only through their Christian faith in Christ Jesus above, but through music. music has so much power in it, and if this song hasnt touched you, i have no idea how you can criticise, cause His love is marvelous and wonderful and so is He!

  • I typed Gaither tent preaching and there was nothing. These people rely on the entertainment moving emotions and it works. Unfortunately this form of will worship has no heavenly currency.

  • NUNCA VI NINGUÉM CANTAR ASSIM É MUITO LINDO !!!!!
